Together in europe...
6 high schools learning about immigration
Our project originated to address the issues of social harmony and inclusion. It started on the e-Twinning platform as a social responsibility project with the partnership of Turkey, Germany, and Slovenia. Our students participated in activities with school-age children of refugees and immigrants in order to facilitate the integration of children into their communities. All of our participants were rewarded with a travel ticket in the Move2learn competition. This project also won the best e-Twinning award "zlatikabel" of the year in Slovenia. The pleasure we gained from our project and the awards we received led to the development of our project as an Erasmus + Project.
With this motivation, six schools with immigrant/refugee students have come together. There are more than 50% immigrant/refugee students in the UK, 30% in Germany %30, 12.2% in Slovenia, 15% in Spain, 4% in Turkey and 8% in France. We aim to ease promote social cohesion through positive communication techniques, learning and sharing cultural heritage. |
